The Willow Waterhole Greenspace is an exciting combination of major flood control and greenspace in a 280-acre park in our backyard. Located just south of the Willow Waterhole Bayou from which it takes its name, the Willow Waterhole Greenspace is a 280 acre flood detention project of Harris County Flood Control with a park overlay managed by Houston Parks and Recreation. There are multiple access points with street parking along Ricecrest or Clematis or in the parking lot on Dryad. There are miles of concrete and grassy trails plus big open grassy areas perfect for throwing a ball or Frisbee. There are benches for sitting and tables for enjoying a picnic. There are fish to catch and birds to watch.
