Chimney Rock Park & Platou Community Center

Chimney Rock Park is the smallest park in Westbury but home to the Westbury Community Center, the Platou Community Center. The Platou Community Center offers adult programs and as well as an after school and summer enrichment program for kids ages 6-13. The monthly Westbury Crier has a page dedicated to programming at the Platou Community Center.
(Please note - There are NO adult programs during the summer. They will resume in August once school starts) Chimney Rock Park has a great playground with swing sets. There are several picnic tables and benches in the shade under big trees. Chimney Rock Park is home to some great athletic facilities. There are 2 lighted tennis courts and 2 lighted outdoor basketball courts (one full size and one half). Most evenings the courts of full of kids and young adults playing basketball. |
