Hager Park

Hager Park is a large park located next to Anderson Elementary in Westbury 4 along Landsdowne.

Hager Park has many popular athletic amenities.  There is a large basketball pavilion with multiple hoops.   There is one full size tennis court and one half court with a backboard.   Hager Park has a large sports field that can be used for baseball, soccer or football.

One of the most popular places at Hager Park is the .51 mile paved walking trail that goes around and through the park. You can find many local Westbury families out walking the trail in the early evenings.

There are 3 sets of the large old-school type swing sets located under big oak trees.  The swings are a fun throw back and loved by neighborhood kids.    There are baby swings available.

The only playground at Hager Park is a SPARK Park at Anderson Elementary.  The SPARK park can only be used during non-school hours.

Friends of Hager Park

Hager Park is in desperate need of park upgrades.  The Westbury Civic Club has been advocating for Hager Park for many years.  Hager Park was finally part of a City Bond several years ago but that project is currently delayed.  Hager Park is always a main topic when the WCC meets with City of Houston representatives.  In order to start a major park renovation, we need neighborhood support.   Consider joining the new Friends of Hager Park group and see how you can help!!
Splashpads, playgrounds, new tennis courts, remodeled basketball courts, and much more.   Sign up today!
