Westbury White Elephant Sale Rules and Regulations
1. Bring parking permit(s) with you the morning of the Westbury White Elephant Community Garage Sale (WWECGS), it is your “ticket” into the lot. Person purchasing space must be present day of the WWECGS.

2. Enter the Westbury United Methodist Church (WUMC) parking lot, located at 5200 Willowbend from Cedarhurst Drive.  Please be patient while the WCC volunteers check-in vendors ahead of you.  This is a residential area. 
3. Check in beings at 6AM.  You must be checked in no later than 7AM.  If you have not checked in by the deadline, then your booth space may, at the sole discretion of the organizer, be reallocated or given to nearby vendors or to those on a waiting list; and you will not receive a refund. 
4. Vehicles and Parking—Parking permits must be visible on rearview mirror or on the driver side dash.  Only vehicles with a valid parking permit will be admitted.  No vehicles will be allowed admittance after 7:30AM.  No vehicles will be allowed to leave after 7:45AM.
5. No sales are permitted prior to 8AM.
6. Your vehicle parking space(s) may NOT be used as a selling space.  Vehicles must remain in space until Noon. 
7. You may ONLY park in the designated parking spots given to you.  Parking elsewhere in the WUMC parking lot is prohibited.  You may NOT park in the spaces closest to the building, they are reserved.  NO PARKING IN THE DRIVING LANES OF THE PARKING LOT.
8. The sale ends at noon.  No sales are permitted after 12PM.
9. Tear down is to commence immediately at noon, if not before.  You are responsible for cleaning up your area and taking any unsold items with you.  Nothing is to be left in your space or left next to the dumpsters. 
NOTE: Trash containers on site are NOT for unsold item disposal.
10. No sold or unsold merchandise is to be left unattended or left at the sale site after the close of the event. 
11. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises.
12. Food and beverages may NOT be sold from your booth.  However, you may bring snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments for yourself.
13. No animals are allowed on premises.  Animals may not be sold or given away during the WWECGS.  This includes but is not limited to: cates, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, etc.
14. No weapons or firearms are allowed at the WWECGS.  You may not sell or trade firearms, or any other potentially dangerous weapons. 
15. Sales of automobiles, trailers, boats, campers, or other vehicles is NOT permitted.
16. No commercial and/or business spaces are permitted.  This event is intended for homeowners to sell garage sale type items.  All booths must have items for purchase.
17. This event is confined to the Westbury United Methodist Church parking lot.  We are not permitted inside the building or to park on the greenspaces.  You may not set up additional space at adjoining properties or greenspaces.  Please be respectful of your surroundings.
18. Space rental is limited persons residing in single family homes in Westbury (Westbury residents).  If booth space remains, non-residents and groups may purchase a space at a later date.
19. Cancellation policy—Booth space cost is non-refundable. 
20. Sellers must furnish their own tables, chairs, shade, displays, etc.
21. Electrical outlets are NOT available.
22. Port-o-potties are located in the event parking lot.  Please do not enter the church or school buildings.  
23. Bring your own change, coins and small bills.  The WCC will not have any change.  Keep money out of sight and in a safe place.
24. Personal belongings should be secured.  The WCC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
25. You may NOT give your space to another Westbury resident, non-resident, non-profit organization, or group.  The person purchasing space must be present day of the WWECGS.
26. The rain date is Saturday, April 19.  The rain date only goes into effect if the event is called off before the sale starts.  If it rains during the event, the sale will continue as scheduled.  In any case, the spaces are non-refundable.   The WCC office will monitor the weather preceding the event and make the final decision at least 24 hours in advance. 
27. Security will be present during the event.
28. Vehicles MUST remain in parking spaces from 7:45AM to Noon, even if you are done selling. 
Anyone violating laws, rules, or regulations may be asked to leave immediately. 
Privilege may be lost to rent a space at a future White Elephant Sale.
